Hello! I understand that keeping a site such as FFXIV Crafting must be a massive undertaking, so please don't take my question here as impatience or a demand, but I was simply curious when we might start seeing the 6.0 stuff pop up on the website?

2021.12.07 20:53 MirukuChu ISFP or INTJ? Or something else?
20M, typically quiet and reserved, yet confident in myself. I tend to be rather shy, though, so I have a hard time socializing. My friends say that I'm ambitious, and I suppose I agree. I'm a rather curious person. I'm also not emotionally expressive, sometimes even called cold, and I prefer to say what I actually think.
For me, a career needs to have some intrinsic value for it to be worth it. For instance, I was studying computer science, but I dropped it because it didn't contribute to the world or hold any special meaning to me. It either needs to be something that I value or something that seems purposeful. For that reason, I'm in the medical field, but I'd like to start a side gig in music composition eventually and maybe even completely focus on that.
I'm okay spending time by myself, although I do crave social interaction at times. It has to be balanced, though. Too much social interaction drains me quite easily, but I don't like being totally reclusive. It's nice to have someone to discuss ideas with.
Speaking of ideas, I do enjoy thinking about the abstract, but I don't think I'd consider it to be my primary thought process. It's moreso just an idea to entertain for fun. If I'm thinking seriously, the abstract is typically second to pragmatic thought, but I don't disregard it. My thinking also tends to be idealistic, so what seems practical to me might be viewed as foolish by others.
As mentioned earlier, I enjoy music. I play the piano and have an interest in music theory and composition. I also enjoy video games, especially RPGs, strategy, and puzzle solving games, but I enjoy most genres. I've been learning chess for a few months now and like to think that is progressing well. Lastly, I enjoy fishing. It's essentially the only outdoor activity I'm particularly fond of, but I heavily enjoy it.
I'm a naturally curious person, and I like learning new things. That being said, I try to focus on specific subjects as I'd rather be a master of some than none. I'm usually willing to research questions or ideas of mine, but not nearly as indepth as I would subjects I prioritize. Subjects that I like to explore deeper are music theory, anatomy, physiology, and psychology.
I think I could make a good leader due to being an intelligent individual, but I also don't possess any leadership skills whatsoever. I always prefer to stay in the background.
I think I'm fairly coordinated. Activities such as playing the piano or fishing can require very precise technique, and while I do make mistakes at times, I'm fairly consistent at accomplishing what I want to do. That being said, I can get clumsy when I'm deep in thought. I don't mind working with my hands, but I prefer balance between problem solving and dexterity.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
I've had many people describe me as artistic. Many literal artists have commented on my potential, although I don't know how they gauge that. I'm not particularly interested in viewing art, either. I can appreciate it, but I also just don't really care. I suppose music is where my artistic side manifests. I thoroughly appreciate music and love interpreting the various ideas and nuances I hear.
I'm not the type to dwell on the past in any capacity. History was and still is my least favorite subject, and I rarely focus on my own past. As for the future, I would consider myself a methodical planner and I do ponder it at times, but once I have it figured out, I mostly just wait. I suppose I mostly live in the present but plan out my future well.
I don't mind helping others if it doesn't interfere with my plans, although I don't necessarily enjoy it. I suppose I just do it because I'm nice.
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
Efficiency is nice if I need to meet time constraints, but I find it somewhat boring otherwise. I like to try new methods of completing tasks when possible.
I only control other people if I directly benefit from it, or sometimes if I think they would benefit from it. I feel as though I'm very good at manipulating others thought processes, making them question their decisions, then influencing them in another direction.
I learn well by observing or by reading. I'm able to apply information I read/see very seamlessly. I struggle to learn anything when it's being explained to me by someone such as in a lecture.
I think I'm a very good strategist. I enjoy strategy games, and I'm very good at strategizing in the real world. I have a very solid idea as to how people will react and how to exploit/capitalize on it. My biggest weakness as a strategist is tunnel vision, though. Unforseen developments can undermine my plans if I'm not careful.
I daydream often, although I also spend a lot of time just being in the tangible world. I can do both at the same time.
I spend a lot of time fine-tuning the details when I make a big decision, although I usually already know what I'm going to do from the start. If anything, the time I spend thinking about my decision is just me figuring out how to justify it.
I understand my emotions fairly well, but I'm not a particular emotional person. My values guide me more than my emotions.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?
I break rules fairly often, usually when I find them to be arbitrary or if I simply benefit from doing so. I don't trust authority, but I understand why it exists.

2021.12.07 20:53 CapEvening2094 How do I convince my parents to let me do martial arts?
Ok so i used to be a greenbelt in taekwondo, but the place has shutdown due to financial reasons. I am thinking about joining martial arts again but my parents keep on saying stuff like: If you ever fight back (every though i never get into fights) They are going to bring a weapon or something for revenge. They also say: Martial arts are useless and you don't get any skills from it and i should help around the house instead or do something else.

2021.12.07 20:53 redit202 (12/07/21) PM says there are early signs Omicron spreads faster than other variants - The Catch-up Daily from Yahoo News UK Edition
Tuesday, Dec 07
Our editors curate stories each day from our own reporters and our media partners to help you stay informed and feel prepared.
Today's big story
PM says there are early signs Omicron spreads faster than other variants: What happened?
Boris Johnson has told a Cabinet meeting that early data suggests the Omicron variant of coronavirus is “more transmissible” than Delta. Giving an account of the meeting, the PM’s official spokesman said there were currently no plans to introduce further restrictions to curb the spread of COVID. The UK has recorded 101 new Omicron variant cases in past 24 hours, taking the total to 437.
Omicron outbreak 'doubling every two days'
The PM's warning came after Professor Tim Spector said early data suggested cases of Omicron are doubling every two days. Prof Spector, professor of genetic epidemiology at King’s College London, told BBC Breakfast: “The official estimates are about 350-odd Omicron cases, and because the current testing is missing a lot of those, it’s probably at least 1,000 to 2,000 I would guess at the moment. And we are expecting this to be doubling about every two days at the moment, so if you do your maths – assume it’s 1,000 at the moment, and you think it’s going to be doubling every two days, you can see that those numbers are going to be pretty (high) certainly in about 10 days’ time."
Variant to take over 'within weeks'
Dr Jeffrey Barrett, director of the COVID-19 genomics initiative at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, said he thought Omicron would take over from Delta in the UK as the dominant variant of coronavirus “within a matter of weeks”. He told the BBC's Today programme: “I think we can now say that this variant is spreading faster in the UK than the Delta variant at the same time, and that’s something that I think was unclear until very recently." Some experts are calling on the government to tighten up restrictions now to curb the spread of Omicron, warning that infections could surge as people socialise during the festive season.
